Jeff Myers
Executive Director

Jeff Myers is the Executive Director of the Out Alliance. He served as the Managing Director from 2016-2018. Jeff was a volunteer at the Out Alliance as Volunteer Coordinator before joining the staff. He moved to Rochester in 2007 from Birmingham, Alabama where he worked as an interior designer. Jeff has always been an active leader in the LGBTQ+ movement, serving on the board of Birmingham Aids Outreach, as well as Vice-Moderator of Covenant MCC for nearly 9 years. He also served on many fundraising initiatives including the Arty Party, Magic City Aids Walk and 5K Run, and Doggie Debutante Ball. A graduate of the University of Alabama, with a BS in Interior Design, Myers was instrumental in the design work for the Alliance LGBTQ+ Center as well as Open Arms MCC in Rochester. Jeff brings a unique mix of southern hospitality and exceptional organizational skills that create superb programming at the OutAlliance.

Tamara Leigh
Communications Director

Tamara Leigh is the new Communications Director for the Out Alliance. A longtime Rochester resident and mother of two, before joining the Out Alliance team she served as a professional development specialist and program coordinator for the City of Rochester. She is the CEO of Roc Candy Media, co-host of the LGBTQ+ focused radio talk show, Brunchin’ with Dee & T. on WAYO fm and has published two novels, “A Young Thug’s Heart” and “Love & Loyalty; Not Just Another ‘Hood Love Story” as well as the stage play, “My Addiction”. Tamara has contributed her time to co-chairing Rochester Black Pride since 2016. Very active in the Rochester community as well as the smaller but truly fabulous LGBTQ+ community, she seeks to give voice and representation to queer of color and lesbian of color women who so often go unheard.

Kayden Miller
Interim Education Director

Kayden Miller graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with a BA in archaeological studies and a minor in museum studies. While in school, Kayden concentrated on educating people through public outreach and experiential learning. As Education Coordinator for the Out Alliance, he makes a difference by creating safe and respectful environments for the LGBTQ+ community. Aside from community education, some of Kayden’s other passions include hunting for deals at flea markets, scuba diving and visiting museums.

Anne Tischer
SAGE Coordinator

Anne Tischer is the Out Alliance SAGE Coordinator and a retired social services worker. Anne is a passionate activist who brings experience in grant writing, social services, community organizing, and programming for older adults. You may also recognize Anne and her wife Bess as long-time local “accidental activists” who bring the best signs to every rally.

Lori Cramer
Education Coordinator

Lori Cramer is a 2018 Nazareth College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and International Studies. She has been actively involved in Nazareth’s LGBTQ+ Education and Advocacy Programs, as well as Club Lambda. She has worked at a variety of locations from the food service industry, retail, to academic offices, but the Alliance is by far her favorite. In her free time, you can find Lori at outdoor summer concerts, festivals, and taste testing beer around Rochester. She hopes to dedicate her life’s work towards LGBTQ+ activism and be a strong voice for the community.

Braden Reese
LGBTQ Center Manager

Braden Reese is the LGBTQ Center Manager for the Out Alliance. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from SUNY Oswego and is a proud Rochester transplant. He was born in Syracuse and grew up in Oneida, NY. He started as a volunteer here in October 2017, serving as Director and Programming Coordinator for Out Alliance’s InQueery programming, including Movie Night Out and Drag Queen Bingo. Previously, he worked in retail, banking, and retirement services. His main focus will be the day to day operations of the Out Alliance facility, include program scheduling, room reservation, and volunteer staff management.

Kat Wiggall
Database Administrator

Kat Wiggall is the Database Administrator at the Out Alliance, where she started working in January 2013. She got her start at the Out Alliance by volunteering on the Speakers Bureau and was quickly recruited to help with the youth program and as an office volunteer.
Kat graduated from Rochester Business Institute in 2007 and has spent most of her time raising her two children. When not busy at home, she has a lifelong history of volunteering for various local community agencies.

Evelyn Bailey

Rochester LGBTQ Archivist Chair, Shoulders To Stand On Documentary and Preservation Program of the Out Alliance of the Genesee Valley 2003 -present. Ms. Bailey is an educator, political activist and historian. Ms. Bailey served as project co-director for three NYS Archives Grants, project director for grants from the NYS Council on the Arts, Rochester Area Community Foundation Historical Preservation Fund, and the LGBT Giving Circle. She writes a monthly column in the Empty Closet, “Shoulders to Stand On.” Ms. Bailey was the Executive Producer and grant writer for Reflections of a Rainbow, a 16-minute documentary on the history of the Out Alliance used for fundraising and marketing. Ms. Bailey organized and chaired the Bid From the Heart Auctions for 3 years, and was chair of the Pride Community Picnic for 7 years. In 2013, Ms. Bailey was the Executive Producer of Shoulders To Stand On, a 90 minute documentary on the history of the Rochester LGBTQ+ community. She also retired from the Board of the Out Alliance in 2013 remaining as a member of the Development and Finance Committees. Ms. Bailey has received the Community Service Award from the Empire State Pride Agenda (2014), the AAUW Education Award (2014), and the Center for AIDS Research Community Service Award (2015). In 2014, Ms. Bailey was Grand Marshal of the Pride Parade, Rochester, NY. Ms. Bailey has been a teacher of Mathematics for the past 30 years, and is a small business owner.

Kathleen Moyse
Program Analyst

Kathleen Moyse provides data support to the Out Alliance program participation. She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a MS in Higher Education with a concentration in Community College Administration. Previously, she earned a BS in Economics with a dual concentration in Computer Science and International Finance. She brings experience in accounting, database administration, education, grant writing, and community organizing. She also enjoys scrapbooking, knitting, and antiquing.

We envision a future where all members of the greater Rochester LGBTQ+ communities, at all stages of their lives, are free to be fully participating citizens, celebrating their lives in which they are safe, stable and fully respected.
